The system is fully customizable. It will be tailored for jewelry stores, book stores, ice cream shops, B & Bs, and so forth. When you register to become part of the Customer Commit System, we will ask you for the information necessary to customize your site. We will then build your site. Once that is done, you will be presented with pages customized with your information each time you log in to use the Customer Commit System.
Gathering information about your customers, including email addresses, can be relatively easy and painless.
Whenever a you make a sale, it is customary to collect basic information about the customer. You need only to develop a simple form for the info you would like to have, have the customer fill it out at the time of sale, and offer an incentive to get them to do it. For example: Place a sign near the register that the customer will see when s/he pays for merchandise. The sign says "Give us your email address, you will get 10% off today's purchase. In return we will send you email announcements of sales and special events at our store." Next to this sign is a form that the customer completes to give you the info that you desire. It will take some time but the pay off will more than offset any of the tedium. We can assist you in designing the forms if you so desire.
